We are inviting local people to become members of Lynchmere Community Grazing CIC.
Being a member means different things to different people.
All our members will be kept up to date about the herd via a newsletter and will be invited to participate in events, such as educational days with our highly skilled grazier Sarah Fisk or our summer barbeque and AGM.
Members will also be invited to buy the rare breed, organic, forage-fed beef produced by our herd. We will keep the prices reasonable and the beef will be exclusively available to members.
Some members may feel they have the time and energy to become a Volunteer Member. Volunteer members will receive training from Sarah and can become a part of a vital team of lookers, helpers and herders to support Sarah in her role as grazier.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with livestock, get to know these fascinating creatures and help us out with caring for them.
Volunteer members are not be obliged to make a regular commitment, and there is room for different levels of engagement, weekly, fortnightly or a few times a year when we move the cows around.
We are a member led not-for-profit community interest company, this means members will vote on decisions affecting the herd at a yearly AGM.
If you would like to become a member please use the form below to send us your details and make a secure payment.
Membership costs £45 a year per household.
Thank you, we’ll be in touch soon.
